Born from a Hungarian mother and French father, I have spent most of my childhood and adolescence in Budapest. Then I decided to pursue my further studies in Paris and settle there. I still have of course a nostalgic view on my time spent in Budapest. I come back often to visit my family and childhood friends.

For several years I have felt more and more discomfort related to the nacionalist, ultra conservative and less democratic politics of the hungarian government. It seems that this political current seeps in the Hungarian society, a lot of subjects divide, people do not understand nor accept each other and it has consequences when it comes to social relationships.

With my pictures I’d like to show this uneasiness that I feel during my holidays in Hungary (at lake Balaton) between nostalgia, good moments of yesterday and today; and the less pleasent side of current Hungary.
